LOS ANGELES - Incase is proud to announce the release of their New York Landmark Collection to celebrate the opening of The Apple Store, Fifth Avenue. Available exclusively to the brand new Manhattan flagship location, the cases feature an embossed pattern of New York City icons.
This custom pattern features historic NYC landmarks and iconography such as the Big Apple, Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Checkered Cabs, and a play on the “I LOVE NY” slogan. Incase’s own branding is also incorporated into the design; as the number one brand at Apple retail, Incase has been asked to build commemorative cases for other large footprint stores in the past. These include the St. George’s Cross, Maple Leaf, and Hachiko cases for the London, Toronto, and Shibuya openings, respectively.
The limited edition New York Landmark Collection includes carrying solutions for the 5G iPod ($39.95), iPod nano ($34.95), and 15″ laptop ($49.95). Each case is available in black or white colorways. The Apple Store, Fifth Avenue, is located at 767 Fifth Avenue at 59th Street and will hold its Grand Opening at 6PM on May 19, 2006.
