Looking at the images for the slider-iphone case, without any images of the bottom of the case, it seems like the only cut-out on the bottom is for the dock….. The speaker and mic aren’t covered correct??

Also, does the white slider-iphone case have a mat finish? From the images, it’s doesn’t look like the glossy finish like the black case…

The case doesn’t allow for you to open the computer all the way. It goes pretty far though. Also, I’ve seen the Speck case which is plastic. This case is hard but more of a rubbery gel type. I definitely prefer it to the speck. It fits perfectly although it does add a little weight.

Just picked up a black slider incase for the iPhone. It’s really a nice case and the black makes the iPhone look sleek and cool. It slides in and out of your pocket with ease. Nice case…only con is you hve to remove the bottom piece of the case in order to charge the phone in the dock

After calling the Apple Store, they do not have the Macbook Pro 17″ hardshell case and they have no idea when and if they’ll be getting it in. Since the case doesn’t seem to be on-sale now, do you have a better time frame of when these cases will be available for purchase if not the end of February 2008. When it becomes available, do you have a list of (online) retailers that’ll be carrying it? Thanks for the info, my computer is naked without it.

I’d like to have a hardcase for my Macbook Pro 17″, but I see y’all only offer the 13″. Can I buy the 13″ one and stretch it over my computer? That could work, right? Right now I’m using bubble wrap to prevent my Mac from being scratched. I’ve been told it’ll overheat the computer, but so far, so good! Second thought, who needs a hardshell case anyway?

I see there’s quite a few people with Macbook Pro requests for a larger hardshell case and I don’t understand why we can’t get a release date or any info. There’s a lot of demand for a piece of rubber, yet we’re not getting any information on it. If there’s no info on it or a release date, then shouldn’t the good people at Incase decide on a date and send out a press release informing the faithful of when they won’t have to worry about their precious computers getting scratched? Forgive me, I’m more anxious than patient.

When is the estimated availability of the hard shell case for the MacBook Pro 15 inch? Surely you must have some sort of product plan with an estimated availability. You announced that they would be in stores at the end of March and I have yet to find them. The corresponding posts suggest that it is in development……but the question is when will they be available? Considering you announced a product that was not in development (IMHO) in Feb, I believe the least you could do is give us an estimated delivery date.

Well, 2 more days left in May – and considering MBP hardshell cases were supposedly going to be available at the end of May, I’m going to be the doubting Thomas. There’s been no word on pre-order or availability. I’m interested in the MBP 17″ hardshell case, and though I am desperate to find something to protect my MBP, I don’t know how more patient I can be. I am really hoping that “flapple” is right and hardshell cases will be available within the next 2 days…

I am also waiting on the 17″ MBP hardshell. My coworker has the speck hardshell on the work laptop and it is starting to rub off the silver chrome color on the edges. He has the 15″ incase hardshell on his home laptop with no wear and has had it on the laptop longer. So I have been holding on to hope that the 17″ will be coming out soon.
I think it is a shame they don’t have someone monitoring their comments and blog.

Ok, so I have an incase hardshell on my 13″ macbook, but occasionally dirt gets underneath and i want to clean it. how do i get the damned thing off the top screen of my mac without hurting my fingers???
