Thanks, sort of, to all the May and June posters in a prior blog story announcing the availability of the MBP case at the end of May. I picked mine up at the Apple Store in Short Pump today and I’m very happy with it.
I was fearful of the reported 90° limit reported the preproduction models and from some other recent adopters, I’m happy to report that I’m not noticing any issues with mine. If you don’t follow the directions and snap the front of the bottom case first there is a 90° limit, but if you properly snap the rear of the bottom case first the limit is more like 110° – 115°. I find this more than adequate for working at any desk or table.
The case does add a little weight to the MBP, but so what? Based on the abuse that my old PB 12″ suffered over the years I find the extra protection a fair trade. It’s an aesthetically beautiful case, fits like my MBP like a glove and has a rubberish texture.
In sum, I’m very happy with my Hardshell Case. Thanks Incase!

I just bought this case today. It rocks. I have had cases from techshell and speck but they are cheap, techshell is heavy and hard to remove and poorly designed. I was able to get more than 90 degree tilt by following the instructions. I just adore the looks and soft feel and it makes my MBP feel special. Looking forward to other colors (a subtle lime green would be lethal!).
Also the case is not heavy and THANKS the case allows the mbp to close/latch without any pressure something that no other hard cover allows – what a great feature….
I think I might try to augment this with some dash of leather/painting/stickers on the top.
Love it totally. Great job Incase….Just get some colors and think of some pre-etched artwork if possible.

I got one for my partners macbook and was soooo disappointed that there wasn’t a version for the mbp! I checked back on this site every now and then hoping to find news about a mpb version, but while at the apple store today found them in stock—absolutely love it! Gave away my spec case lol. I agree mre colors would be nice, but for me its the texture that I truly appreciate.

I’ve been in envy of the macbook case for sometime and eagerly wait for mbp case to be announce, sure enough the next time I stopped in the apple store I was able to score a delicious frosted case. The fit, finish and rubbery texture is awesome and the frosted colour is very discreet (I can hardly tell it’s on from afar). It also fits snugly in my 15″ neoprene incase sleeve! bonus!

I have had my case for a week and it is everything I had hoped for. Looks awesome and fits like a glove. On top of that it has a great protection factor! I had a Speck case prior to this one and their is no comparison. Don’t wait, BUY IT!
