What’s the difference between this and the neoprene sleeves already available? What is the difference between neoprene and polyurethene?

The polyurethane (PU) sleeves are identical in design to our neoprene sleeves. PU is different in texture and feel than neoprene (similar feel to a smooth leather). Neoprene feels like a wet suit or one of those soda can cooler sleeves that you buy in the grocery stores (both of which are made of neoprene).

Would a Macbook within Hardshell Case fit in a Slim Sleeve?
Jul 24, 2008 at 9:15 am
@anna: we recommend a damp sponge with mild soap on the Slim Sleeve. It’s not machine washable and will get ruined if put in either the washer or the dryer. The sleeve should be air dried.
@Mike: Yes. The Hard Shell case does fit in the Slim Sleeve but it can be a little difficult to slip in and out because of the soft touch finish on the Hard Shell case. The Hard Shell works better with our Neoprene Sleeve because it stretches more and works best with our Nylon Sleeve Plus.

I have a Sony FW190 and was wondering if it would fit a 17″ Slim Sleeve. Has anyone tried this out? It is slightly thicker but less wide and I was wondering if it would fit.
