    This sounds really great,
but can I get this thing in India.
One more question ,will it double the battery life of an iphone 2g

  3. Can’t wait to read some reviews on this case. Will it have or can it fit into one of those belt clip in style holsters? The one where you can face the screen inward to protect it?

  4. It is very interesting case for iphone but is not possible to buy it outside USA. Could we help me?

  6. Not possible to buy it in France ;’(
How is it possible to fix it ?

    .albin

  7. not available in sweden either.
    solutions?

  8. This is easily the best case on the market. I would usually have to charge my battery around 2:00pm every day because of all the emailing and phone calls for work. Now by 8:00 pm at night I still have full battery! Yes, it ads some girth but its well worth the sacrafice. The form factor is so good I like it more with the case now than without. The only con I have about the case is that the LED lights on the back arent nearas bright as advertised.

  9. ’sup i heard from this case and it sounds amazing i cant wait to have it but i’m from mexico so…, any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

  10. Will this be available in white?

  11. i caaaaaant wait until i get mines., delivery date approx. 12/08

  12. Will this be available in other colors ?

  13. I just pick up one and it’s thicker than I thought, making it easier to hold.
    The battery is a plus.
It come with USB cable so no more looking for the iPod plug.
The sound is a little lounder from the bottom cover.
I would recommend it and it’s well made.

  14. Looks like a great product. But why does every new device have to have LEDs?????? I have trouble sleeping at night sometime because every new electronic device I own emits a bright/sometimes blinking light. I have to turn them away from me and cover them up.

  15. I just got mine today.

So far I’m not impressed. the slider is so loose, if you pick up the phone without holding the bottom, it literally slide out and falls to the ground (the phone is much heavier now since it’s plugged into the batter part of the case)

Also, it failed to sync with my PC at all (lots of complaints about not being able to identify the device, etc.) After several attempts my iPhone rebooted. It took several minutes to reboot. I’m even using the “special cable” that came with it.

  16. Got this at the local Apple Store when I picked up the iPhone 3G. It was so new even the Apple sales people didn’t know what to make of it. I’ve been using it for five days now

  17. Any one else having troubles syncing to a mac?
Not recognizing iPhone, Showing sync screen for a few seconds, then disappearing?
Dropping sync midway? This is the second one I got… returned the first to Apple
thinking it was a defective unit… iPhone syncs fine with Apple/iPhone cable…
Syncs fine with the mophie usb cable… Just can’t get the power slider ro sync..

    Please Help Incase!?!

    P.S Using a new MacBook Air…..

  18. I like the slider. It’s a little loose. One big problem is there are NO holsters on the market that fit it! If you purchase, expect to have major problems finding a holster. So far the only T-Mobile Sidekick LX is even close in size to an iPhone with a slider attached. Even then, the holster is not a good fit. I contacted incase support and got no support re: holsters!

Got mine, Great idea but I must have a dud. doesn’t charge, no leds. I’m using the special cable. Right now extremely disappointed. I like the case a lot. But it’s going back in exchange for hopefully one that works

First off Incase is the best all around at what they do hands down. As for the power slider, what more can i say? It’s a great product, which packing a huge punch. Does the job well and better then the rest. Incase is definitely where it’s at.

I bought the Power Slider case back in April ‘09 (its July ‘09 as of writing this) because I was going to take a long car trip from Northern California to Southern California (7 hour trip) and my car charger’s fuse was blown which meant I was not going to be able to power up my phone via the car charger. I knew my iPhone 3G would not last me longer than 4 hours, especially when I knew I was going to be using the GPS and listening to podcasts simultaneously the entire trip. Went to Best Buy to see what alternatives they had and they showed me this, I bought it and all I can say is … freak’n amazing! It lasted the 7 hours and a little bit more! Not only that, but I was not planning on covering my gorgeous iPhone 3G with a case protector, to me its like putting clothes on a gorgeous nude woman… why???! Well, I also fell in love with the case design, its simple but sexy and its still one of the best looking ones I’ve seen… and I’ve seen a lot of them here in California. And even though it does make the phone look twice as thick, I still like it. Dont’ get me wrong, on special occasions I go “nude” with my phone and take off the case but leave the case in the car already charged and ready to go if I need it. It is extremely rare I have to charge my phone now at work and only do it after I come back home. Highly recommend it!

… ONE LAST THING! It is true, that you get better call reception with the Power Slider case off but haven’t had that much trouble with it on. The other last thing I wanted to add is that you can charge the phone within the Power Slider case which means that you always have a back up battery ready to go in case of an emergency. Way cool. Though I do I wish they made a hard case, shiny white (or even better, chrome!) version of the Power Slider.. that would certainly be sweeet!

  25. I’m on my second power slider case for 3G. The first on stopped charging. The second one isn’t much better. When I first got it the battery would last at least 8 hours, now I’m lucky to get 2 hours. It will get down to 3 LEDs then the iPhone internal battery starts draining. When I attach it to power neither the phone battery or the slider battery will charge. I have to separate the devices and charge them separately. Sometime the incase charges, sometimes it doesn’t.

    P.O.S.

  26. I have had the Power Slider for a few weeks now, and the problems I have include not syncing with my IMac, and being unable to receive a signal any better than two bars at my house, also, losing my home network frequently. When I remove the Power Slider I get strong cell signal, and very good reception to my network from all over the property.. Anyone have any suggestions for a solution??

I bought my power slider at Target about a month ago. I charged it 3 times since I bought it. Now it won’t take a charge. It is basically dead now. Also, before it died, I would try to charge it with my iPhone 3GS still inside it and I would get a message that said something to the effect of “this device is not supported” and then it wouldn’t charge.

I want my money back, or a slider case that works!

I have had my Power Slider for about 3 months now. Currently I am getting an hour of charge from the Slider before it goes to battery power. Who can I talk to about getting a replacement?

  29. I have had my Power Slider for about 6 months now. As far as the battery life being better there is no doubt about, it is great. Regarding the size it is bulky but I have not found that to be a problem. Now the dislikes. When traveling to rural areas I loose the signal for my carrier (AT & T) and the problem is not the carrier or my phone. My sons have the 3G phone and I couldn’t figure out why they had a signal and I did not until I removed the Power Slider and I was able to get a signal again so needless to say I now remove it when traveling. Secondly when interfacing with ITunes through the Power Slider I have twice now had to restore my phone completely as an error occurred during the process. Now I remove the Power Slider and only update using the interface cable supplied with the phone which has never exhibited an error.

  30. After reading all the comments I have to add the third one was the charm for me first 2 store bought went badly both gave notice that didn’t support device and didn’t charge or dropped charged shortly after pairing with phone device . I am experiencing some of the dropped phone calls and signal problems but none that are so drastic . My overall experience with customer service went poorly , the agent was nice but expediting the exchange went badly I paid for the return of the device myself . I am now concerned if this device will outlast its 1 year manufacturers guarantee . Retail value is too high for a throw away item .

Ps. Remember to let your phone battery drop below 20% and exercise it properly your phones battery will b affected by the external batery also.
