Finger On The Pulse BBQ #2
This past Wednesday night, Williamsburg’s Hope Lounge played host to Finger On The Pulse’s Summer BBQ Blowout #2. Here’s what party titan and FOTP honcho Greg Bresnitz had to say about it (via text, no less):
“Hey man, Here are the photos. The night was great. We had over 350 people come out and we were sold out in the first 90 minutes. Les Savy Fav killed and Tim [Harrington] closed with a set of early 2000s euro gay anthems. Thanks again for the support. Tonight was amazing. Now out drinking!” –Greg
Sure enough, the FOTP BBQ once again sounds like the neighborhood’s best lazy mid-week lurk. From now through August, every last Wednesday of the month, you can enjoy a heaping plate of $5 BBQ, guzzle and dance your ass off (for example, to euro-gay anthems care of luminaries like Les Savy Fav’s Tim Harrington & Seth Jabour).
And while you’re at it, use it as an opportunity to load up on free Incase products for your iPod or iPhone. Like, LOAD UP. Take five, take ten. Spread ‘em around. Snap one on your 3G and shove the rest down your damp pants; belly full, staggering, howling wildly into the night. The next event is July 29th, hope to see you there.

St. John and frequent HunterGatherer collaborator Gary Benzel created the woodgrain pattern and have applied it to products ranging from furniture to skateboard decks. The signature design has been reintroduced for Curated by Arkitip, ornamenting two of our own signature products: the MacBook Sleeve and iPhone Slider Case.
Introducing HunterGatherer for Curated by Arkitip
Today we launch the latest installment of the Curated by Arkitip project with New York-based HunterGatherer. The brainchild of Todd St. John, HunterGatherer is an award-winning design, illustration, animation and production studio.

HunterGatherer is known for its spare, but inventive projects, often combining experimental and hand-built techniques with more complex methods. Since 2000, HunterGatherer has stayed decidedly small, focusing on a limited number of assignments across a wide range of mediums. The HunterGatherer products for Curated by Arkitip add to the studio’s body of work, which include a number of animation projects for clients such as Nike, VH1 and The New York Times T: Magazine, as well as ongoing work for New York City’s green initiative, GreeNYC.
The HunterGatherer 15″ Sleeve for MacBook Pro and HunterGatherer Slider Case for iPhone 3G S and iPhone 3G are available today in our webstore and arkitip.com with availability following shortly in select Apple retail stores and better boutiques.
To learn more about the project, watch the video featuring interviews with HunterGatherer artists Todd St. John and Gary Benzel.

News from WWDC and Incase Products
Yesterday’s keynote address at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference brought an air of excitement and anticipation with the introduction of both the new iPhone 3G S and a refreshed MacBook Pro family.
Incase for iPhone 3G S
Because iPhone 3G S will retain the same form as iPhone 3G, current Incase iPhone 3G cases are expected to be compatible with iPhone 3G S. We’re looking forward to the June 19 iPhone 3G S launch when we will be able to confirm the utmost compatibility with all Incase products.
Just as the iPhone has become the mobile phone of choice since its introduction, we strive to be the brand of choice for iPhone owners by continuing to offer a variety of cases for any and every user. Be on the lookout for updates about our new protective solutions that we’ll be introducing in the near future.
A MacBook For Every User
MacBook family upgrades, price reductions and a new 13″ addition to the MacBook Pro family were welcomed announcements out of WWDC.
For new MacBook owners looking for a carrying solution, our current offering of Neoprene Sleeves and Nylon Sleeves are compatible with each notebook of their respective size. We are currently working to create custom fit Hardshell Cases for all sizes within the new MacBook Pro family.
Keep checking with us for all the latest product news and information.

Since then, the studio has become internationally known for its inventiveness and distinctive fusing of hand-built and high-end techniques, creating influential work for everyone from MTV to the New York Times.
The woodgrain-inspired products for Incase are based on a design collaboration between St. John and Gary Benzel, a frequent HunterGatherer collaborator. Be on the look out for more information about our project with HunterGatherer. Products will be available on June 23.
