TCB Couriers Bike From SF To PDX

 title=

This morning Chas and Steve from TCB Courier left San Francisco to bike to Portland in 6 days. That’s roughly 800 miles on track bikes (both running 46×17 ratios). At the end they will race in the West Side Invite X.

Here’s a list of what they’re bringing:

  • 2 Messenger Backpacks
  • Sleeping bag and Bivy Sack
  • Tarp and parachute cord
  • Bike tools
  • 2 extra tubes
  • Bike pump
  • 2 kits with arm/leg warmers
  • 1 pair long johns
  • 1 rain jacket
  • 3 pairs wool socks
  • 1 T-shirt (for those fancy dinners)
  • 1 pair cut off shorts (for chillin’)
  • Tons of Clif Bar stuff
  • Headlamp
  • Camera
  • Broken iPhone
  • iPod shuffle

They will be giving us updates from the road via our Twitter feed, and this Flickr Set.

Good luck guys!

UPDATE: We set up a Flickr Map of the progress.

  5. The guys asked for them specifically before they went on the trip. We’ll get a product review from them when they are back in SF.
