THIS Visits: Jordan Sellers
We take a minute to visit Jordan Sellers, activist and artist. For the last 10 years Jordan has spearheaded an ongoing campaign for better public space in his native city, New York, and other international posts. What started as a project for his undergrad education at RISD has turned into his lifelong calling.
We are pleased to present a look into Jordan’s life, work, and his passion for creating a better urban landscape. To find out how to get involved with this campaign visit Public Ad Campaign.
A huge thanks to Sunny Shokrae for helping us out with this project.

THIS Visits presents a fascinating look at the work of Eddy Sykes, an artist whose unique process yields stunning results.
THIS Visits: Eddy Sykes
Eddy Sykes is a man of many fascinations. THIS met up with Eddy at his studio in the Frog Town section of LA, where he melds architecture, sculpture, assembly, industrial design and whimsy to craft complex kinetic chandeliers that are as beautiful as they are inspiring. Some of his past projects include house plants and ashtrays carved out of bowling balls, sculptures built entirely from ostrich eggshells, a kinetic bacon and eggs… you get the drift.
José Parlá
For the eighth installment of Curated by Arkitip, artist José Parlá documents his experiences in calligraphic and palimpsestic code using our signature protective cases. Available today, the José Parlá capsule collection for Curated by Arkitip features original Parlá artwork applied to the 15″ MacBook Pro Sleeve and Convertible Book Jacket for iPad, both of which are constructed of premium pebbled leather, as well as the Slider Case for iPhone 4.
THIS Visits: Danger
The 3rd video in the THIS Visits series features collage artist Danger. He refuses to participate with the world around him and has a general disdain for humanity. That said, he is mildly obsessed with Lady Gaga and has a real fondness for Roxy Music and Ladytron.
THIS Visits Collage Artist Danger
Lifelong Redondo Beach, CA resident Danger is an artist who painstakingly creates hand-cut, hand-glued collage works. By working with existing materials including out-of-print books, magazines and other paper ephemera, Danger re-contextualizes the meanings of existing imagery, producing works that are both frightening and incredibly intricate.
Danger refuses to participate with the world around him and has a general disdain for humanity. That said, he is mildly obsessed with Lady Gaga and has a real fondness for Roxy Music and Ladytron.
Learn more about Danger and his unique world view straight from the artist himself in our THIS Visits with Danger, one of the gallery’s favorite artists.
