Thanks, It Was Decent, MAD DECENT!

Sadly, everyone has stepped off the tour bus. Weep, sniffle, and sigh… After 24 dates around the US and Canada, Diplo, Abe Vigoda, Telepathe and Boy 8-Bit played their last show together at the Starlight Ballroom in Philly.

Between the prancing pizza, dancing hot dog and Mad Decent’s fantastically blasted tour manager, we’re not sure who had the most fun—the artists & their entourages or the fans.
All in all, we here at Incase were happy to be part of this win/win situation. To all thirteen touring artists, Mad Decent fans and hosting venues—Thank You!
Wild Beatz and a Prancing Pizza
Last night I attended a TV party with friends, neighbors and strangers in the Arlington neighborhood of Los Angeles. Our purpose—to eat piles of barbecue and shoot the breeze while watching the 2008 Presidential Election results. Good times.
Afterwards, I raced over to the Echoplex to catch the Mad Decent Tour with Diplo, Abe Vigoda, Telepathe, and Boy 8-Bit. While at first it seemed sort of incongruous, even frivolous to be out at a club on such a historic night, once inside Diplo changed my mind real quick.
He and the whole Mad Decent crew were in a pumped up, celebratory mood, giving the crowd exactly what they wanted—bright lights, wild beatz, a dancing hotdog and a prancing pizza. America, yes we can! Enjoy the photos.
And as a bonus, a video from the Mad Decent tour that we shot at Webster Hall on Oct 16.
Mad Decent Fall 2008 Tour Hardshell Case
Incase is one of the presenting sponsors of the Mad Decent Fall 2008 Tour, featuring a sick line-up of Diplo, Abe Vigoda, Telepathe and Boy 8- Bit.
During the kick-off stop at New York City’s Webster Hall, we shot the breeze with Diplo and Boy 8- Bit about the 2008 Mad Decent tour and all things Incase. Diplo showed us his Incase notebook bag he takes everywhere with him along with his Incase backpack.
We got a chance to talk about the limited-edition 15″ Hardshell Case featuring customized Mad Decent artwork by comic book artist Jacob Chabot (The Mighty Skullboy Army). Jacob illustrated everyone on the tour & also drew in a pizza man that has now become the main attraction of the tour.
We’ve also hooked up with several music blogs (including the Fader, Prefix Mag, Oh My Rockness and more) on a series of contests to give away tix to the shows (sorry, no travel expenses included!) and the limited-edition 15″ Hardshell Cases.

We’ll be giving away one of these to a lucky Incase blog reader! Just leave a comment and tell us why you deserve this case for a chance to win. The winner will be notified via email.
UPDATE: The Mad Decent Hardshell Case is for the “old” 15-inch MacBook Pro.
ANOTHER UPDATE: Contest now closed. Winners will be announced soon.
LAST UPDATE: The five lucky winners are…
- Martin Seidel
- Mac Warren
