Hard to believe but this past Saturday marked Swimming With Sharks pool party #5. Who dj’d? Well, DJ YNot?, dudes from Local Natives, and folks from IAMSOUND. What happened? Oh you know, dancing, guzzling, tripping, flossing, running, splashing, spazzing, sunning, scratching, rubbing, tugging, giving the lurk, and getting the fade.
Ah yes, the easy breezy days of summer spent carousing around the rooftop pool sky high at the Standard Hotel. Where? In mind crushingly beautiful downtown Los Angeles, that’s where. Does it get any better than this? Maybe. Join us at SWSharks #6 on Saturday, August 7th to find out.

If you’re a lover of all things light, high and tight, MFG’s Swimming With Sharks might just be your summer bag. On back to back weekends, pool parties #2 & #3 went off without a hitch. Lots of uber babes, jello cubes, beefy dudes, and easy breezy attitudes. And bangers. Lots and lots of bangers. And free Incase iPhone cases. So many iPhone cases. Photos? Right here.
All summer long, it’s just gonna keep on keeping on…and on…and on…. Party sharks circling the waters of the Standard Downtown’s rooftop pool… Bikinis and beats. Sunglasses and SPF 70. Serious pedicures. Flowing frocks and six inch heels. Classy shade hats and lip gloss. iPhones at the ready, thumbs gone wild.

Swimming with Sharks Opening Event Recap
Well, well, well… It has been a very long hot 3-day Memorial Holiday. Between all the weddings, BBQs, soccer games, oil spills, and late night movies, it is now time to recall the wet n’ wild spazzfest that kicked off our whole weekend— Swimming With Sharks.
Given the packed response to their opening event, we’d say Matt Goldman & James Rockwell at MFG Productions are poised to outdo themselves. Forget the beach and Hollywood, their Standard Hotel rooftop pool party in DAZZLINGLY SUBLIME Downtown Los Angeles was the place to be on Saturday afternoon. Did people hotly bop around in bikinis and banana hammocks? Yes. Were squirt-guns present? Of course. Was an ex-girlfriend (or twenty) getting all vibey? For real. Did folks wear designer shades? You know it. Was Boxed Water guzzled? Absolutely. Were half a dozen photographers on hand making everyone “Internet famous?” Mega. Did international guest DJs blast tracks at 192 bpm and then some? Wonderfully so. Did party dawgs go bonkers for their new Incase Snap Cases for iPhone? Totally, dude.
On select Saturdays all summer long, from 1PM to sundown, we’ll be doing our part to help folks have a bit of summer fun. As always, you bring the sunscreen, flippy floppies, and spastic splashing, and we’ll bring the protection for your iPhones.
