Paul Rodriguez Signature Collection Launch Event Recap
We spent this past Saturday in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. hosting an event in conjunction with Active to celebrate the launch of the Paul Rodriguez Signature Collection.

Paul was there to meet and sign posters for everyone who came out.

He even took some time to participate in the free skate session that was going on outside.
Greg, Courtney and Christine held it down at the stenciling booth (check out the P-Rod face stencil!)
Thanks to Paul Rodriguez, Active, the staff at Rancho Cucamonga and everyone who came out. View the entire set on Flickr.
Paul Shows Off His Signature Collection
Two more videos of Paul going over all the features of his Skate Pack and Skate Bag.
The Skate Pack is designed to meet the day-to-day travel needs of any skateboarder, featuring skateboard compression bumpers, custom grip pads and quick-release buckles for easy deck-loading. It also has ample storage room and a padded, faux-fur lined notebook compartment that can fit up to a 17″ MacBook Pro.
Travel luggage for your skateboard and then some. With storage for personal items on top, the Skate Bags lower compartment is equipped to handle a complete board setup, spare decks and parts.
Both videos are also available on the Incase YouTube channel.
Paul Rodriguez Dot Pattern Wallpaper
Here’s a freebie for all you skate nerds. We’ve created a desktop wallpaper using the dot pattern that’s featured on the interior lining of each piece in the Paul Rodriguez Signature Collection.
Simply save the image to your computer and set it to tile on your desktop background.

Paul Rodriguez Product Launch at Active

We’re celebrating the launch of the Paul Rodriguez Signature Collection this weekend at Active Ride Shop’s Rancho Cucamonga location.
The event will feature a P-Rod autograph signing, skate contest, live music, great food and product giveaways. There will also be a free t-shirt stenciling booth where you can create your own shirt design using custom P-Rod, Incase and skate graphics.
If you’re in town and would like to join the fun, please come by any time between 2pm and 5pm. If you’re unable to make it, we’ll have photos of the event posted to our Flickr page early next week.

Photographed by Ari Marcopoulos
All photos for the Paul Rodriguez slide show were shot by Ari Marcopoulos.
Photographer Ari Marcopoulos immerses himself completely in the individuals, personalities, visionaries and scenes he photographs.
Originally from the Netherlands, Marcopoulos came to New York City in 1979 where he printed photographs for Andy Warhol. He immediately became involved in the art and music scenes of the time. His rarely published photographs of Jean-Michel Basquiat from this period are perhaps the most intimate photographs taken of the artist.
The first book of his work, Portraits from the Studio and the Street, was published in 1988. At this time Marcopoulos turned his attention to New York’s vibrant hip-hop scene, becoming friendly with and photographing popular artists such as Fab 5 Freddy and Run-DMC. His photographs were used for the cover of the seminal Beastie Boys’ album Ill Communication.
In addition, Marcopoulos has directed numerous short films and exhibited work worldwide, including within the collections of The Whitney Museum of American Art and The Detroit Institute of the Arts.
Marcopoulos currently lives in Sonoma, California.
In SD for the Agenda Show

This past week we showcased our new lineup of Life and Technology products at the Agenda Show in San Diego. Although this show has a much smaller footprint than Project in Vegas, it features an even more select grouping of streetwear and action sports brands with a strong emphasis in style, art, music and culture.

Views of our new booth. Black walls with the integrated Topo Pattern and the glowing light of our product gallery from within.

The activity inside the walls of our portable showroom. There was a steady flow of traffic at our booth and a great buzz about Incase around the show.
While we successfully worked with what we had at Project in Vegas the other week, with complete control of our environment at Agenda, we were able to provide an elevated experience for all who viewed.

Another peak at our EO Collection shown gallery style alongside some of our new nylon and canvas bags.

The focal point as you entered the booth was our Paul Rodriguez Signature Collection. Photo of Paul by Ari Marcopoulos.

And to top things off like sprinkles on a cake, we also previewed a fresh spectrum of case colors for Holiday 08 and Spring 09. You can view more pics from the tradeshow here.

Wrapping up a great tradeshow in Vegas. Good times and great people.

It was awesome to finally show our P-Rod and EO Collection. Both of them, parts of our LIFE category, making their way into specialty boutiques around the world. Stay tuned!
