The collaborative iPhone 4 Slider Case for colette, in a limited edition of only 300, will be available September 10th at Opening Ceremony in New York, at colette Paris and online at colette.fr and goincase.com.

Incase at Apple Carrousel du Louvre

On Saturday, November 7th, Apple opened the doors to its 277th store. This beautiful store is Apple’s first in France and has an incredible location inside of the Louvre in Paris!

Apple Store Paris

The Incase Sales Team had the pleasure of being in attendance, meeting the staff, and touring the store. The energy of the Apple staff and the thousands of hungry customers that lined up around the block was amazing. We took some images of the location, the store, and the Incase product displayed inside which can give you a sense of how special this new store is.

In addition to the Carrousel du Louvre and André special products, Incase also had the pleasure of joining Apple in launching their iPod touch base point-of-sale device by designing and supplying a holster to carry this new device.

André’s Paris

With each installment of Curated by Arkitip, we create a video to provide viewers a look into the inspiration behind the artistry. Directed by Felipe Lima, the André video is a slight departure from our previous artist features. Rather than use words, André has chosen to tour us through a typical day in Paris and let the city that inspires him speak for itself.

The visuals are complemented by a passage from Le Paysan de Paris (Paris Peasant) by Louis Aragon, one of André’s favorite authors, read by actress and singer Adele Jacques. The accompanying music, an original arrangement of Serge Gainsbourg’s “L’alcool”, is performed by Matthew Banks and also draws from André’s tastes.

Celebrating the city that elevated André’s graffiti to cult status in the creative world, the fifth installment of Curated by Arkitip features the artist’s distinctive “Mr. A” stick figure character. Once seen everywhere from city walls to high fashion magazines and collaborations, Mr. A appears on the signature Incase 15″ Sleeve and Slider Case alongside André’s interpretation of the French tricolour.

The Paris-themed André products for Curated by Arkitip are timed to release in parallel with the opening of the first Apple retail location in France and will be available on opening day at the Apple Store, Carrousel du Louvre adjacent to the renowned art museum in Paris.

“André embodies the creative spirit and vibrancy of Paris, so it was only natural to introduce his contribution to Curated by Arkitip as Apple opens its first retail store in France,” said Damon Way, Incase Chief Brand Officer. “We are excited to do this with André to celebrate his artistic legacy and Paris, a city that artists from all walks of life continue to draw inspiration from.”

The André 15″ Sleeve for MacBook Pro and André Slider Case for iPhone 3GS/3G are available today in our webstore, arkitip.com and at the Apple Store, Carrousel du Louvre, in Paris, France.

Visit the André Project page for more information about the products for Curated by Arkitip as well as a video feature of a day in the life of André in Paris.
