With the chaos kicking off at 12 midnight and running till 4AM, you can pretty well anticipate it’ll be a real wrecker.

Performances by OFF!, Thee Oh Sees and Odd Future. Bring ear plugs and a quadruple espresso. You’ll DEFINITELY need both. And maybe a pillow. The first 250 maniacs through the door will receive Incase Slider Cases for iPhone 4 (AT&T and Verizon compatible). We look forward to seeing you there!

pSad but true, our favorite summer barbecue series will soon come to a close. Fortunately both final events feature back-to-back killer chefs and hilarious, bad ass DJs.
Sad but true, our favorite summer barbecue series will soon come to a close. Fortunately both final events feature back-to-back killer chefs and hilarious, bad ass DJs. If you were on hand for BBQ 5 on Saturday, August 21, you experienced firsthand the mouthwatering Southeast Asian-meets-Southern Dixie kitchen mash-ups of Fatty Cue and the weirding ways of DJs Punches.

Actually, here’s co-mastermind Darin Bresnitz to drop science on how it all went down,

“Saturday was the perfect day of sun, fun and deliciously smoky lamb ribs! Selling its entire cache of food, Fatty ‘Cue blew people away with delectable Asian inspired BBQ, while DJ Whitney Fierce rocked the crowd until the sun went down. With a steady flow of sun burnt, summer loving foodies, Zak Pelaccio, owner of the already legendary ‘cue spot, jumped behind the line to dish out his delicious delicacies. Curry flavored black eyed peas and greens from Brooklyn Grange rounded out the menu for a perfect event that was the talk of the weekend.”

Seriously… delicious.

<img src="http://goincase.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/bbq20105c.jpg" alt=" title="Tongue!" width="600" height="400" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3620" />

Please join us for the last Finger On The Pulse barbecue on Wednesday, August 25th. Food by Frankies Spunito and tunes by DJ Andrew W.K. That’s right, the Bresnitz brothers have wrangled Andrew W.K. into MCing the barbecue’s swan song. Trust us, you’re in for a real special send off. Thanks again to Greg and Darin for their hard work and good will this summer. We’ll see you in the pit next year. As always, you bring the appetites and we’ll bring the iPhone Snap Cases.

The 4th BBQ in our series was set on a perfect summer day: 80 degrees, some clouds and a light breeze. The people turned out strong and waited patiently for the smoked meat burgers and brisket dogs provided by Mile End. MIle End prepared everything fresh that day, baking their own bread and casing the hot dogs themselves. Tunes were provided by the lovely girls of Au Revoir Simone who set a summer soundtrack of old 45s and laid back jams. This was one of the best yet.

If that review feels a little tame, you’re probably right. I know for a fact Greg and his brother Darin were nursing hella strong hang over vibes from party dawging at Pitchfork Festival the week before in Chicago. It happens!

SOOOOOOOOOO friends, if you’re in the Williamsburg area on August 21st, and if you’re

hungry for cheap delicious bbq,

in need of a free iPhone 3GS case, and

looking for a nice mellow midweek lurk, you know where to go.

The Summer BBQ Blow Out will not steer you wrong. Bring your appetite and a second wind. We hope to see you there.

It’s that time again. BBQ Blow Out #3 happens on Saturday at Good Company in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Chef Sam Mason will be cooking, which means this BBQ is gonna be very special. How special? Well, here’s Greg from Finger On The Pulse to put it in perspective,

Brooklyn-based Chef Sam Mason has built a critically acclaimed reputation over the last decade for his innovative dishes and passion for music. After studying at Johnson & Wales University, Sam honed his craft working for Jean Louis Palladin, Paul Liebrandt and Wylie Dufresne. Formally the pastry chef at WD-50, and current host of IFC’s Dinner With The Band, his aesthetic culinary vision combines molecular gastronomy with inventive ingredients to produce sweet and savory dishes that continually surprise the palate.

Long story short, his food is awe-inspiring. Especially the BBQ. Seriously. As always, Incase will be on hand gifting free iPhone cases and generally helping to make it all happen. We hope to see you there. Bring your appetite!
