The sixth installment of Curated by Arkitip features artist and designer Evan Hecox. Fascinated with the complexity of the urban landscape, his work portrays the everyday existence of average people within the modern metropolis.

Hecox’s stylistic approach is based on the process of amplification as it affects form and color, resulting in stark, cinematic depictions that encapsulate the urban experience.

The 15″ Evan Hecox Sleeves for Curated by Arkitip will be available in three editions on February 9.

Designed to fit up to a 13″ MacBook Pro, the notebook sleeve features an all-over safety pin graphic, a signature emblem of uniform experiment, and is available now exclusively through our webstore in the United States and via Apple, honeyee.com and uniform experiment in Japan.

Sharing an appreciation and respect for design, quality, art and culture, Incase, honeyee.com and uniform experiment came together to present a collective representation of each brand in one cohesive product. The result was the uniform experiment 13″ Sleeve. As a protective solution for essential technology, the uniform experiment 13″ Sleeve takes a traditional, signature Incase product and adds styling and graphic elements from the uniform experiment brand.

uniform experiment is the collaborative brainchild of Hiroshi Fujiwara (fragment design) and Hirofumi Kiyonaga (SOPHNET.). The brand aims to challenge perceived notions of business wear by reconstructing traditional styles with a fresh approach to create a reinterpretation of the business uniform.
