Refreshed and redesigned, the collection continues to innovate with a new Duffel Bag and Skate Pack

<img src="http://goincase.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/prod-f10.jpg" alt=" title="P-Rod Skate Pack" width="600" height="380" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-4138" />

To meet the daily travel needs of skateboarders, we bring you the new Paul Rodriguez Signature Collection. Fusing undeniable P-Rod style and skateboard-specific design with our advanced craftsmanship, the collection continues to innovate with a new Duffel Bag and a redesigned Skate Pack to deliver the optimum in durability, protection and functional design.

Paul’s signature Duffel Bag expands on the collection’s sensibility with weather-resistant nylon construction, a spacious main compartment and weather-resistant lined bottom half that incorporates a tool kit panel to house decks and tools while on the go. The Duffel Bag also features a skateboard attachment with adjustable Velcro straps and abrasion-resistant composite exterior for easy and secure deck loading and a dual purpose carryall handle/padded shoulder straps with Velcro closure and stash pocket. The zippered side pocket contains a hideaway leash that instantly transforms the Duffel into a rolling bag when attached to your skateboard.

Also included in the Collection is Paul’s Signature Skate Pack. The practical exterior skateboard attachment with adjustable Velcro straps and abrasion-resistant composite exterior for secure deck loading makes the Skate Pack a must-have. To keep you organized, there’s a dedicated iPhone/iPod pocket with faux-fur lining, reinforced notebook compartment (fits up to 15″ MacBook Pro), dual water bottle pockets with drainage and an extensive array of interior pockets.

Available in aubergine with electric orange pop and black with cyan accents, the Paul Rodriguez Signature Collection is now available in our webstore and exclusive boutiques worldwide.

Bonus: See the Skate Pack in action in a new video we shot with Paul skating the streets of San Francisco. We tasked our friends Mike Martin and Gabe Morford (of MASH) with the job of documenting Paul during one of his recent visits to SF. Watch how Paul navigates the city’s streets, hills and skate spots.

DFA Records & Incase Present:
THE JUAN MACLEAN
DJ Set at Mezzanine
San Francisco, CA
Friday, November 20th

We’d like to give our condolences to the friends and family of drummer Jerry Fuchs. He died tragically last weekend in Brooklyn, NY. To those who loved his music, Jerry was an incredibly talented musician and an absolute joy to watch. From his work in The Juan MacLean to Turing Machine, Maserati, !!! (Chk Chk Chk) and beyond, Fuchs was the consummate drummer’s drummer. He brought richness, humility, friendship, and passion to every project. Jerry was a good friend to many within the tightly knit independent music community, his playing and his life shall be sorely missed and immensely celebrated.

If you’re in the Bay Area on Friday night, November 20th, this is the show you ought to be at. These folks are gonna be serious about getting bodies on the dance floor. And while you’re at Mezzanine, raise a toast to Jerry. Proceeds of this event will go to benefit the Gerhardt Fuchs family. He truly was one of the good ones.

pWow. We arrived in San Francisco last week, a little nervous about spending two days on an artificial island in the middle of the San Francisco Bay, asking ourselves “Who actually lives on Treasure Island?” and “Is it really made out of trash and dredged mud?” Once we actually made it on-site (after a left lane exit ramp followed by a hairpin turn), we were blown away by the amazing views of the Bay Bridge, cryptic “no trespassing” and “radioactive” signage and laid-back vibe of the a href="http://treasureislandfestival.com/"Treasure Island Music Festival/a./p

The line for the Incase booth was at times out of control, winding itself into other vendors’ tents (sorry, Boost Mobile and Jim Streibich!) /p

We had a blast talking to festival goers about Incase and helping them choose custom Royal Scourge designs (Tenderloin furry with ballgag vs. Mission furry with fixie bike) for their scarves. Our scarves definitely came in handy as the sun went down and the wind whipped up!

We were also lucky enough to get Incase product to some of the festival bands: CSS, TV on the Radio (killer), Spiritualized (OMFG), Vampire Weekend, the Raconteurs and more.

Check out more photos (by Arlie Carstens) from the weekend. Thanks to our local staff Nick, Nihal and Josh, screen printers Zoe + Erik at VESL and The Royal Scourge for making this weekend a blast. YOU LOOKED GOOD!

If you’re in San Francisco this weekend, check us out at the 2nd Annual Treasure Island Music Festival, a two-day arts and music fest featuring Justice, Vampire Weekend, Spiritualized (!) TV on the Radio and more.

We’ll be onsite with local art and design collective VESL Studios in the Treasure Chest Vendor Village, where we’ll be silkscreening jersey scarves with artwork by NYC-based artist Royal Scourge. (Those are his furry creatures below)

And if you’re hanging out after the festival, be sure to stop by the Menomena show at the Independent. We’ll be there watching bands, talking about Incase and passing out some goods.

We’ve also contributed gear to the festival’s Recycling Center, so bring your recyclables and exchange them for an iPhone 3G case. And if you’re a blogger, please stop by our booth to pick up complimentary products to make blogging about the festival safer for your gear.

See you on the Island!
