Thanks, It Was Decent, MAD DECENT!

Sadly, everyone has stepped off the tour bus. Weep, sniffle, and sigh… After 24 dates around the US and Canada, Diplo, Abe Vigoda, Telepathe and Boy 8-Bit played their last show together at the Starlight Ballroom in Philly.

Between the prancing pizza, dancing hot dog and Mad Decent’s fantastically blasted tour manager, we’re not sure who had the most fun—the artists & their entourages or the fans.
All in all, we here at Incase were happy to be part of this win/win situation. To all thirteen touring artists, Mad Decent fans and hosting venues—Thank You!
Sleep Be Damned for Hearts of Darknesses

When we last spoke to Hearts of Darknesses, they had just driven from Reno, NV to St. Louis, MO in one straight shift to make a Halloween show at Washington University. 1,842 mi, 26 hours. They were pretty delirious, but there’s no stopping this journey: HOD will continue to spread dark 80s punk rock new wave grooves to teenage girls smoking cigarettes in parking lots all across America, sleep be damned.
They sent over some hilarious photos from the Southern leg of the tour. More crazyness on their Myspace page.
Stay safe boys!
No Age Baggage Survives with Ease

No Age checked in with us from tour over the weekend! In between their sweat-soaked euphoric punk shows in Manchester and Lisbon with Los Campesinos, they took a moment to photograph X-Rayed African tribesmen and their baggage surviving with ease, thanks to the Incase gear we hooked them up with for tour.

Introducing: Hearts of Darknesses
When NYC-based band Hearts of Darknesses got invited to open up for their good friend Gregg Gillis aka Girltalk on the first leg of his fall tour, their first thought was YES, followed by “how can we afford it when gas is so high and we have no tour support?!” Incase to the rescue. In addition to giving HOD $1000 in gas cards to make life easier on the road, we also provided Incase product to the entire band to protect their gear: notebook cases, iPhone + iPod cases and guitar bags.
The band stopped by the Drillteam office in NYC on Thursday October 9 before heading out on tour (first stop Philly) to pick up their Incase gear (and gas allowance)!
It wasn’t long before they customized one of the 15″ Slim Sleeve.
Hearts of Darknesses is the solo project of electronic music producer Frank Musarra, with help on the road from Shawn Lovejoy, Mike Fischer and Craig Dempsey. Check out tour dates and HOD music on the band’s Myspace page and continue to watch the Incase blog, and the HOD Flickr set for more updates from the road!
