Time by Ty Segall & White Fence
In their final installment of Room 205, Ty Segall & White Fence go outré with a bang on “Time.”
Ty Segall & White Fence Perform “Time” in Room 205
With pure elation we premiere the final installment of Room 205 with special guests Ty Segall & White Fence. To accompany the head trippin’ skronk and clank of “Time” (from the forthcoming LP on Drag City), editor Forrest Borie animated the artwork of guitarist/vocalist Tim Presley, aka White Fence. The ironclad peace sign, ominous revolving cube and long-lashed, blinking eyeball marks an aptly overstimulating end to an episode of truly gonzo AV explorations.
Special thanks goes to Tim, Ty, Mikal and Nick of Ty Segall & White Fence for making this episode of Room 205 possible. It is great to work with such lovely and creative friends. Thanks also to director Michael Reich, set designer Tamarra Younis, engineer Jon Gilbert, DP Conor Simpson and editor Forrest Borie.
Room 205 will be back again soon with more new episodes featuring some of our favorite artists. In the meantime, be sure to check out our SoundCloud page, which features streaming tracks of performances recorded in Room 205.

To match the euphoric cacophony of “I AM NOT A GAME,” director Michael Reich and editor Forrest Borie fed the session’s raw live footage through an abused analog video mixer. The result is a beautifully unhinged snapshot of the band in all its freewheelin’ psych-damaged glory. And yes, Ty Segall does in fact play a guitar solo with a TV set.
Look for the final Ty Segall & White Fence performance, “Time,” to launch Monday, April 23rd.

In their first Room 205 installment, Ty Segall & White Fence deliver a wildly euphoric, psych-fueled performance of “Scissor People” from the forthcoming album Hair on Drag City Records.
If your musical tastes run from the guitarsenals of Amon Duul II to the mind warps of The Animated Egg, then you might agree that Ty Segall and Tim Presley, aka White Fence, have just made one of the best new psych-garage albums of the early 21st Century.
For this episode of Room 205, the two have teamed up with friends Mikal Cronin (bass) and Nick Murray (drums) to deliver a sonic freakout par excellence. That director Michael Reich and engineer Jon Gilbert captured them performing live together for the first time is just—in the truest sense of the word—awesome.
Keep an eye out for installments #2 and #3 to launch April 16th and 23rd.
