Not quite big enough for Nikon D3s
This bag is even more beautiful in real life than in pictures I've seen on this site and others. I just wanted to chime in and say it isn't really big enough for the Nikon D3s. I removed all the padding and the D3s fits snuggly on its side, not lens down as depicted in the marketing. But the bag is so comfortable to wear that I will keep it.
Great performing and looking pack
After initially buying a Lowepro camera sling that looked like your typical dorky camera carrier, I needed something a little larger and preferred one that didn't scream 'camera case.' This pack is great looking, and fits my mid-size DSLR with walk around zoom lens, plus another large macro lens and accessories.
The fabric is very durable and great looking (I wish InCase would make more of their lines with it). My only recommendations for improvement are to add metal zipper pulls (not the cheap painted ones) to the zipper. The cords that come with it now make it sometimes hard to pull open around the sharp corners of the pack.
Also, some of the stitch-counts could be higher. I've noticed (mainly around the zipper) stresses on the fabric and stitch holes from when I've had to fully load the pack. As with a lot of InCase's other products, the stitching doesn't exactly inspire confidence, but so far so good.
Great size for mirrorless camera and accessories
I tried a few other camera bags from Incase and finally found that this bag is the perfect size for daily use of the Sony NEX5. I can fit the camera, an extra lens or two, spare battery, and tablet easily. It's even got a little extra room for small items acquired through the day. It's also a comfortable size to be lugging around during the day. I do kinda wish it had an optional waist strap though to make hiking easier.
Perfect for my kit.
I shoot with the Sony NEX-5N and a bunch of E-Mount and vintage Canon F lenses and I always carry my iPad around with it. This bag holds all of it perfectly, snugly, with the perfect amount of padding to be protective without cumbersome. I have a small Manfrotto tripod which when strapped to the side, is barely taller than the bag itself. Excellent companion. The heathered material is more rugged in feel than I was expecting (this is a good thing.) Feels more like denim rather than a softer cotton fabric.
I also enjoy the fact this bag is both large enough and has configurable partitions to be used easily as a daypack for all sorts of things, not just camera gear. Very practical bag. Good job incase!
