Pretty dang nice
Just picked up the Hammered Hardshell case in black. I just returned the Moshi iglaze case to the Apple Store because it was catching on the hinge when opening. I saw this case at the Apple store and popped it on my MBA. I'm pleased to say that this case allows the lid to freely open with no catching on the hinge, so this is great.
The texture is really nice and allows for a good grip on the MBA when carrying it around.
My only problem with the case is that the feet are not rubberized as advertised. They feel just as plasticky as the rest of the case, so there isn't that great of grip for the MBA when using it on a desk or table.
As this is a new product I cannot speak to the durability. My fear in buying a case like this is that many of these cases are brittle and prone to cracking. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this case will hold up.
Overall I really like this product. If the feet were rubberized like they are advertised to be then I would give 5 stars, other than that it's a great looking/feeling product and I would recommend this to anyone.
