Very light, very thin
I carry my iPad and more when I travel, and wanted the thinnest, lightest case I could find. This is it.
It snaps to the back of the iPad case, and has never come off except when I wanted. The cameras and controls are all easily accessible. There's no magnets like other cases, but that's okay cause the smart cover just seems like a fancy gimmick to me. The elastic band is very tight, so I don't use it at all; like a book, it stays closed by itself.
I bought this case 9 months ago, and the cover is showing some wear at the edges (delaminating a bit), so after it falls apart, I'll buy another one just like it. Highly recommended.
Great Slim Footprint
This case is for those who want a slim case that protects the iPad and do not care about the wake up feature. It has an elastic band that keeps the cover in place. Well made and very light. I had the Apple cover and a polycarbonate back case on it before and this is much lighter. However, I found that the my iPad would get jostled in my messenger bag and would end up dead on arrival too many times. Highly recommend.
