The Perfect Balance Of Sleeve And Case
I've owned my 11" MacBook Air for over a year now. When I purchased it, there were no case offerings custom made for the computer. I purchased a sleeve, and it has been nice, but I really wanted a bag custom fit for the small form factor of the system, without tons of added bulk in superfluous pockets to fill up with junk. I bought this computer because I like compact tech, and putting it in an oversize bag would defeat the purpose.
This bag is the answer to my search. Just the right size, and the computer fits like a dream. It feels like a great quality product, with nice attention to detail. The fabrics range from heavy and durable on the outside to soft and plush in the computer pocket; in other words, just right. I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase.
Notes:
1) The product description doesn't include that there are two pen pockets and a third larger pocket sewn inside the left pouch pocket on the front of the bag. Nice!
2) The exterior of the bag is several shades darker than it appears in the photos here; if the photos are "silver" (50% black) the reality is "gunmetal" (80% black). This is not a bad thing, just a difference.
3) My Seagate GoFlex Pro USB hard drive fits in the front pocket with room to spare, but it is not quite roomy enough for the MacBook Air Superdrive.
4) I recommend the USB Mini Cable Kit sold here as a great add-on for this bag.
