Nice supplement to an everyday case
I got the Origami Sleeve for Christmas and find it quite useful. Holding the iPad at 45 degrees, either horizontal or vertical, is a useful alternative to what the Apple cover provides. I'm using it now on my desk to read a book in portrait mode. It's perfect for this!
Used as a case, it's a tight fit so your iPad has to be "naked" to fit. You then run the risk of dropping it unprotected while using it, plus you now have 2 things to hold. Of course that's true of any sleeve. When my iPad leaves the house, it goes back into the stock Apple cover.
Used strictly as a stand, you can leave your iPad in the Apple case and the Origami Sleeve will support it well at that great 45 degree angle in either orientation. The "bottom" of the folded Origami case is an open triangle so it's best kept on a tabletop. It's wobbly on one leg and falls down when centered in your lap.
It's a solid useful stand for around the house, but I prefer all-the-time protection when taking my iPad on the road.
