Great Case

I did quite a bit of research on iPhone 3G cases, given that I'm 37 and just got my first phone. I know, I'm a freak.

After considering several different brands, I went with a slider from Incase, having read about their designs in WIRED over the holidays. What I didn't expect were its two best features: the surface is highly matted and therefore very hard to scratch, resembling the brushed, no slip surface of car tires. So it stays looking new. And even better, it somehow manages to avoid catching lint and other pocket or purse debris. So basically, the phone always looks great. I've given 2 of them as gifts so far.

In terms of shock absorption, I don't know yet. It would probably save the phone from catastrophe, but I could imagine replacing the case after a serious drop.

This by far is the best case for the 3G iPhone. I got the white one from Best Buy for around 38 bucks and don't regret spending that much at all. You can feel the iPhone is protected against accidental falls. I have never dropper my iPhone, but i gotta take precautions. The only thing is that is a downer is that my charger won't "click" in with the case on. But i guess that's why they made the bottom part of the case smaller rather that the top, so i take it off when charging.

i bought this case at a best buy near my house and it looked fabulous plus i have a thing for the color white [the main reason why i sprung for the 16gb W 3g rather than the regular B one]

and whoever is holding out for a clear case i wouldn\\\'t suggest it.

clear cases get lint and dirt stuck in them that scratch and make your phone look dirty.

Best iPhone Case

This case is great and offers the protection that you pay for. I love Incase products and you always know that your equipment is safe. Great product!

White Incase Slider

I initially got the Incase Slider as a case to hold me over until i had researched and found the perfect case. As you can imagine, i was incredibly surprised when, after some use, i realized how fantastic this case actually was! It really IS the best case you can buy for your 3g. Its difficult to capture in the pictures and bullet points, you have to hold it in your hand. It fits like a dream, looks stylish and offers excellent protection. If you are on the fence about this or any case in general, do yourself a favor and go with the Incase Slider. It comes with my highest recommendation!

to all of you complaining that this case wasn't out when the phone came out - no case by a legitimate company was out. apple doesn't supply third party accessory companies with samples to test with so i'm personally happy incase took the time to test the product. true testament of why they're one of my favorite companies in any market.

i love this case, it's easy to slip on and off and i could tell that my phone was protected just by the feel of holding it. it's perfectly solid.

my only complaint is that i can't see how bad the lint build up is until i take the phone out.

PLEASE make a clear case for the iphone 3g!!!

Great Case

I was holding off for a black glossy case for my iPhone 3G, however I ended up getting one of these instead. The case looks great, feels great, and fits great. This is my first case from Incase and I'm very impressed.

I really love this case but wish it came in other colors...pink, blue, purple, etc!!!!

This Case is the Best

Every Iphone user should have this case. It is a shame it was a little late to market. I bought this case, it is simply the best 3G case. Apple better make sure this gets into the market place. There is not better case, this is a gem. Best Buy carries junk. They are not carrying the Slider Incase for the Iphone. The 3G case is the best...better get you sales team working. The Best Case. The cig blug is the best. Best Buy should be carrying the slicer case!!

Good protection for phone

I own the slider case in white. Today, during my bike ride, my iPhone 3G was ejected from my seat bag as I went over a bump. I'm guessing I was doing about 10 mph. I saw the phone fly off to the side, hit the asphalt, then bounce into the grass on the side of the path. The case was scratched/ gouged on all four corners, and had a small crack across the bezel, but otherwise remained intact. The iPhone 3G is, apparently, undamaged. Just one data point, but give credit where credit is due--to Incase.

first you guys didnt have the slider out when the phone came out, now you dont have the slider in gloss black, the new phone is gloss black why dont you have a gloss black case? pathetic i will hurt myself if you dont release the right case soon

Great Case!!!

This is the best case for the iphone 3g. I bought this case in white and it looks "TOP OF THE LINE." It has a little rubber in the inside so it doesn't scratch. It protects it a lot amd it is an awesome case!!! I really think anyone looking for an iphone 3g case should consider this one.
