Warhol began exploring film as a medium for his art in the 1960s. One of his early experimental films, Kiss (1963) is a black and white silent film that featured close-ups of 13 couples kissing each other for three and a half minutes each. The Kiss Snap Case features an image taken from a screenprint on plexiglass based on frames from the film.
